Man oh man!

Well, it's quite a feeling at the moment, but we have a very tough challenge with Montreal facing us - they're more than ready for the Grey Cup after the way they decimated BC.
I hope we can take advantage of some of our big plays, but also use some of our sure-handed receivers to help us drive the ball.
A historic Grey Cup - first time Montreal and Saskatchewan have faced each other in a looong time!

Congrats to both the Riders and the Als for punching their tickets. Both are full value for getting there.
The Als would never admit it likely, but I'm sure they had their hearts set on beating avenging the loss to Calgary last year in their home Grey Cup. Either way, with the motivation of that loss likely pretty fresh and raw, I don't expect that motivation or let down will be issues.
The Riders tend to force and capitalize on opponent mistakes, and I question whether the Als will give them much to work with in that regard. They're looking like a real fine tuned machine in all facets of the game.
This could be the final game for Makowsky, O'Day and Eddie Davis, as well as potentially Calvillo, Chui and Cahoon. All of them can still play at a high level, but none of them are spring chickens.

Unofficially AC is:
9059 yards, 498 completions and 40 TD passes behind Damon Allen's all-time records. Remarkably even though Calvillo is knocking on the door of those all-time records he still hasn't even reached the half-way mark of Lancaster's record 396 interceptions. AC turned 37 halfway through this past season. Allen's yards, completions and TD marks are all very much within his reach by the end of the 2011 season. Coming off a year like this and with those types of records so close I can't imagine him packing it in now. Even with a bit of a decline he could still break them before he turns 40 halfway through the 2012 season.
